NEOMAS

NeoMas facilities consist of a biomass-based electric power and steam cogeneration plant, with a maximum gross installed power of 11.1 MW and a steam generation capacity of up to 70 tons per hour.

NeoMas is located in Cabrero, Biobío Region – Chile, and supplies thermal and electrical energy to Masisa for the drying of wood destined for the manufacture of panels for furniture and interior architecture. The multinational manufactures 68% of the total board production in Chile and is one of the main producers and marketers of wooden boards in Latin America.
