Neoelectra generation complements management of its cogeneration and biomass assets with a wide range of efficient energy solutions (electricity, steam, water, foodstuff-quality CO2 gas, energy backup services, etc.).
Neoelectra has thirteen active industrial cogeneration plants with a capacity to produce 160 MWh on a production basis of 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at most of its facilities, four plants for recovery and marketing of CO2 with a recovery capacity of 70,000 T/year, one biomass plant and two fish factories, one being run in El Grado and the other in the Valle de Arán, at which sturgeons are reared for preparing and marketing top quality artisan caviar under the Caviar Nacarii brand.

At Neoelectra we make a rational use of natural resources and control the production and management of waste in order to guarantee preservation of the environment. The efficiency of the company’s production processes enables maintaining really low consumptions of water and gas in comparison with other companies engaged in the same business.
In turn, CO2 recovery plants reduce the emissions of this gas to the very minimum, avoiding contributing to the greenhouse effect.
Energy production by means of cogeneration means one can take advantage of thermal energy, which is discarded in other more simple complexes, to cover the demand for our industrial partners’ production processes. Apart from this the CO2 recovery system means that waste can be converted into a marketable product.
