These facilities are strategic for NEOELECTRA as they represent its entry into the biomass sector. The plant is authorized to generate 8.04 MW through a steam turbine in a 24-hour operating regime. This industrial complex uses pomace dried by the adjacent cogeneration plant as fuel, in line with the commitment to sustainable industrial development between Neoelectra and DCOOP, to reduce and recover waste from the olive sector. This agreement with the industrial client will allow this circular economy process to be carried out until the end of the useful life of the facilities.

These facilities are managed by qualified mechanics and electronics operators, all of them resident in neighboring towns.
