VILLACAÑAS

Biomass plant with authorized power of 7.8MW in Villacañas, Toledo. The plant generates electrical energy from residual biomass from various industrial processes in the area, and from biomass from forest management. This facility is an example of environmental sustainability and energy efficiency that fits with Neoelectra’s corporate philosophy of promoting sustainable industrial development. The plant works with an 8 MW Tuthill Murray steam turbine and recovers around 50.000 tons / year of industrial waste; a combustible waste with environmental impacts and produced in Villacañas almost in its entirety.
