Neoelectra Ames facilities are made up of a cogeneration system with 2 Caterpillar engines of 3,6 MW each, with an authorized discharge power to the grid of 7.33 MW and an average annual production of 60.8 GWh. This plant is associated with Cooperativas Lácteas Unidas (CLUN), the fourth largest producer in the Spanish dairy sector, an industrial client to which Neoelectra supplies electricity and steam through two recovery boilers for the operation of its facilities.
