The DOS HERMANAS plant produces the thermal energy of the industrial facilities that Migasa has in the municipality, one of the leading agri-food groups in the refining and marketing of olive oil, seeds and pomace.
The plant generates and supplies electrical energy to the grid and the thermal energy necessary for the activity of this industrial client. The facilities consist of a cogeneration plant with 3 Innio Jenbacher engines of 1.7 MW each, which represents an authorized supply capacity of 5,085 MW. A recent change has been made to the engines, replacing these teams with more efficient models. The plant is currently managed by a team of 7 people, qualified mechanics and electronics operators, who are part of the Andalusian staff.
